The first LEED Gold V3.0 Certified Data Center in the United States. This two-story100,000 SF Data center facility is designed to run on its own electric utility. The Fast Track phased project included a build-out for Verizon’s existing data center and a building addition that included a layered data center and mechanical plant. The building is planned for future growth and additional capacity. The challenges on this project included maintaining Verizon’s heightened security regulations, cold weather construction strategies, and a confined site footprint in which to contain the multi-phase program requirements. The Verizon project finished on time and within the $30M budget.
